Dear residents of Knockbridge; past & present,

As we look ahead to an exciting chapter in our club’s history, we invite you to play a pivotal role in shaping our future. Our ambitious development project (preliminary planning design at end of this page) includes:

1.     Two Football Pitches: Imagine the roar of the crowd as our teams battle it out on these pristine pitches.

2.     Astro Turf Pitch: A versatile space for training, youth programs, and community events.

3.     Walkway: A scenic path connecting our facilities, perfect for pre-match strolls or post-game celebrations.

4.     Changing Rooms: Modern, comfortable spaces for our players to prepare and unwind.

5.     Ball Wall: A dedicated space to sharpen your speed, agility, reactions and for practising Football, Hurling & Camogie skills on.

6.     A Playground: which would be a great addition to the village.

7.     A Car Park & Secure Bicycle Storage: with 174 parking spaces & adequate storage for safe keeping of bicycles.

This is subject to planning permission and will be delivered in phases.

What is Cáirde Cnoc Bríde?

Cáirde Cnoc Bríde (Friends of Knockbridge) has been launched to allow us to translate our vision; of expanding the sports facilities in our community into reality. 

How Can You Make a Difference?

Weekly or Monthly Contribution: Commit to a contribution of €5 per week or €25 per month until July 2026. Small amounts add up to something monumental! If you would like to donate a different amount, please contact one of our committee members below. Anyone that donates will be recognised within the new facility.

Our Vision:

·       Total Estimated Project Cost: €1m- €1.5 million

·       Planning Permission: Expected within 12 months

·       Construction Start: Immediately after approval
