Thanks to everyone who attended our Defibrillator training evening last Friday in the clubrooms.

And a massive thank you to the East Meath Defibrillator Unit who provided the training on the evening.

Our new Defibrillator Unit which was kindly sponsored by Intact Software is located on the left hand side of the main gate as you drive in. If someone suffers a cardiac arrest the chance of survival reduces by 10% every minute until CPR/AED is used, so our new AED is a crucial piece of equipment in an emergency situation.
